| This is a Geo. C. Shreve And Co, San Francisco sterling silver cheese knife with a design of embossed mice on the handle made by during the late victorian period, 1890-1894. The cheese knife is 7 inches long, weighs 44.2 grams of silver and besides a trail of mice has the embossed words The Rogues Come Out To Play on the handle. The sterling silver knife has the script monogram of Margaret on the reverse of the handle and has evidence of wear and use on the blade edges but is a great victorian survival of someone with a sense of humor and an appreciation for cheese. FREE shipping included in the USA. | ||||||
