Wedgwood Butter Pat Green Transferware English Gladys
This is a green transfer or transferware butter chip or butter pat made by Wedgwood and Company, England from 1890-1900 in a pattern called Gladys. The butter pat measures 3.25 inches in diameter and is made of Royal Vitreous porcelain. The butter pat, which makes a wonderful teabag caddy now, has a green floral transfer or transferware design with gold trim and hand painted gold accents. The butter pat is in very good +++ condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear but does have 1 tiny old manufacturers discolored dent under glaze on the back rim which is not seen from the front. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
