This is a Clarice Cliff for Royal Staffordshire, England royal commemorative plate designed for the coronation in 1953 of Queen Elizabeth II. The ironstone plate measures 10.65 inches in diameter and features a famous portrait of the young queen taken by Anthony Armstrong-Jones, soon to be married to her sister Princess Margaret and to become Lord Snowden. The plate was actually made for the Canadian market and the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is surrounded by the coat of arms of the provinces of Canada. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. One of the most sought after coronation souvenirs. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
