| This is a Royal Doulton, Lambeth England tobacco jar with original lid made by in 1901-1907 in the Silicon line of matte stoneware with applied rosettes and the pattern X-5387. The pattern was used with different color combinations from 1895-1902 but the Royal Doulton mark with the Royal added only started in 1901 after recognition from Queen Victoria. The tobacco jar measures 5.5 inches high by 4.5 in diameter and is in very good +++ condition with only one minor part of a rosette missing. A wonderful piece of tobacciana, Silicon Ware and Royal Doulton stoneware that is very decorative and collectible. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured. | |||||||||
