Shelley Biscuit Barrel Antique Green Key and Rose Rare
This is an absolutely beautiful and rare biscuit barrel or cracker jar made 1910-1916 by Shelley China Late Foley, England. The biscuit jar is in the Green Key and Rose pattern #10449 with a molded shape like gathered cloth tied with a bow and EPNS fittings. The British registry number for the design is 1896 and the jar lid is marked A Shaw Inverurie, JT&Co S. The jar measures 9.75 inches high with handle 5.5 without by 6.25 in diameter. The biscuit barrel is in very good ++ condition with no chips or cracks but does have plating loss on the fittings. Shelley biscuit jars are difficult to find and this is a beauty!
