| This is a souvenir horse brass or pub brass on a faux leather strap commemorating the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer of England in 1981. This horse brass and strap measures 7.5 inches high by 3.5 wide overall and the brass itself is 3.5 inches high by 3 wide and is a heavy casting in excellent, mint condition. Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses and are very collectible. In England you see them decorating the beams in pubs or hung by the fireplace in homes. | |||||
