| This is a wonderful commemorative ceramic pomander, pot pourri or scent holder from England called the Ye Olde Ceramic Pomander and was made in 1977 to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The pomander is 2 inches high and 3 inches in diameter and bears the original foil sticker from Aidees and says it is filled with perfumed flowers and has it's original gold hanging cord and even some pot pourri inside. I found it in Cornwall in southern England. Pomanders were developed in the 1500s to scent clothing, bedding and closets and to scent a room to disguise the medieval smells of no drains.
