Tea Bowl And Saucer Copper Luster Paneled Grape
This is a wonderful early Victorian Chelsea or Grandmother's Ware tea bowl or handleless cup and saucer made in the Staffordshire region of England between 1820-1840s. The pattern is called Paneled Grape and is copper luster. The pretty cup and saucer set is of white molded ironstone with applied copper lustre grapes. The cup measures 3 inches high by 3.5+ inches in diameter and the saucer is 6 inches in diameter. The set is unmarked--quite usual for this age. The tea cup and saucer are in very good condition with no chips, or cracks. There are a mineral dust speck or two under glaze which is normal in pieces of this age. A wonderful and very collectible piece.
