Antique Sugar Tongs Crown Finial Continental Silver Catalogue: Vintage Arts: Decorative Art: Metals: Silver: Continental: Pre 1940   item# 655651 (stock# 7154)  click for details Antiques At Time Was 360-477-4128 $128.00  This is a pair of antique 800 silver sugar tongs with an ornate 3 dimensional crown finial that were made in Europe 1920-1930s possibly in Austria or the Scandanavian countries. I have been unable to find the mark. The sugar tongs measure 5 inches long, have spoon ends and barley twist legs and are in excellent condition. They are marked with a crown, 800 and what looks like a head of corn or wheat. A lovely way to drop sugar into your tea cup with distinction and elegance.
