The sugar scuttle was made in England in the 1920-1930s of pressed blue glass with a wire handle or bale and was to hold lumps or cubes of sugar. I have often had silver scuttles but this is the first glass scuttle I have found on my antiquing in England. The scuttle measures 3 inches high by 4 inches long by 2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. A very unique and cute addition to any tea table.

The stylish and elegant knife rest measures .25 inch high by 3.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide, is beveled on all edges and has a diagonal cut and cross hatch deco design. The knife rest or knife holder measures 1.15 inches high by 3 inches long, has a 6 sided bar and hexagonal ends. The lovely colored knife rest is in very good ++ condition with no major crack or chips, but does show wear from use which does include minor edge chips and a few nicks and scratches on the bar. Open Salt Pressed Hobnail Zipper Blue Glass England Catalogue: Vintage Arts: Decorative Art: Glass: English: Pre 1960   item# 422909 (stock# 2988)  click for details Antiques At Time Was 360-477-4128 $18.00  This is a master open salt, salt dip or salt cellar I brought home from England recently. The salt measure 2 inches high and is 3 inches in diameter. The salt dip is made of pressed turquoise blue in a jagged top crossed zipper and hobnail insert pattern with a star of flower bottom. The salt is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
