This is a retro modern mid century crystal and sterling silver dish or bowl that was manufactured by DGH - Dansk Guld Håndværk, a Danish silver manufacturer ala Georg Jensen, Denmark. The dish is marked DGH 925S punched into the underside of the silver framework. The design is loops and grapes and is beautifully done. There is a small chip on the outside rim of the bowl. There is a worn ring on the bottom from use. Very retro!

This is a master open salt, salt dip or salt cellar I brought home from England recently. The salt measure 2 inches high and is 3 inches in diameter. The salt dip is made of pressed turquoise blue in a jagged top crossed zipper and hobnail insert pattern with a star of flower bottom. The salt is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

This is a neat retro pressed glass oval pillow shaped knife rest from France that was made in the 1970s. The knife rest measures 2.75 inches long by .73 inches high by 1inch wide and has a very nice diamond pattern base. The knife rest is part of an estate knife rest collection I acquired recently and is in excellent, mint condition. An elegant way to keep the tablecloth clean by holding your knife up during courses.

This is a fabulous sugar bowl in the shape of a coal scuttle that is called a sugar scuttle. The sugar scuttle was made in England in the 1920-1930s of pressed blue glass with a wire handle or bale and was to hold lumps or cubes of sugar. I have often had silver scuttles but this is the first glass scuttle I have found on my antiquing in England. The scuttle measures 3 inches high by 4 inches long by 2 inches wide and is in excellent condition. A very unique and cute addition to any tea table.

This is an open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of light green clear glass by Cambridge Glass, USA 1920-1930s in pattern number 400. The salt is an octagonal tub shape with lugged handles to hold a salt spoon with an 8 pointed star base and cut crossing lines and leaves. The salt measures 1.25 inches high by 1.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and is a lovely color. Salts are also used today for tea bag holders and for sauce dishes.
