This is a rare clotted cream dish made by Watcombe Torquay, Devon England in mottoware or motto ware pottery. The motto or saying is Be Canny With The Cream with the traditional flower design and it was made 1910-1920s and is unmarked as many Watcombe pieces were during that time. This is a Falcon Ware, Lawrence, Staffordshire England transitional ironstone jug or large pitcher made in the 1930s with a victorian shape melded with art deco zig zags and traditional jackfield black with art deco orange. The jug or pitcher has been glazed black on the inside as well. The jug measures 6 inches high and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A very striking and unusual piece. This is a neat vintage pottery cream or creamer and sugar bowl or basin set I brought home from England made 1920-1930s by Bilton's, Staffordshire England. This is a mint with tags and original sticker figural pie vent or pie funnel called Lady Pie or referred to as Peasant Woman in a treacle glaze ceramic. This is a wonderful large pottery 4-6 cup teapot made by Sudlows, Burslem Staffordshire England with very striking marble or mottled pattern and hand done slip decorated stylized art deco flowers. The teapot was made in the 1930s and measures 5.5 inches high by 9 inches long by 6 in diameter. This is a blue jasper or jasperware lidded cylinder box with lid made by Wedgwood, Barlaston, Staffordshire, England with applied white jasper applied decoration of a classical design called Sacrifice Figures. The lidded cylinder box was made in 1968 and measures 4.5 inches high by 3.4 inches in diameter. This is a lovely pink or red transfer or transferware platter or oval serving plate made in the 1960s by Unicorn Tableware which had been Enoch Wedgwood and became part of the Wedgwood Group proper in 1965.
