This is a neat pincushion in the shape of a lace up oxford shoe made of silver plated cast iron in the 1950s. The pin cushion shoe measures 4.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide by 2 inches high. It has an inset of velvet. The shoe says Made In Japan on the sole and has japanese characters on the inside of the heel. It is in very good condition with little plate loss but does have a hole in the heel where it looks to me like someone tried to hammer a nail with it! This is a neat bone china large thimble or small bell with no clapper made to commemorate the Royal wedding in 1986 of Prince Andrew, second son of Queen Elizabeth II, and Sarah Ferguson--better known as Fergie. This is a neat sewing thimble that I brought back from England recently. It was made by an unknown maker to commemorate the birth in 1984 of Prince Henry or Harry, son of Prince Charles and Princess Diana of England. The thimble is in good condition with no chips, cracks or wear but it does have a bit of a rough area on the back bottom under the glaze made during manufacturing. Great sewing collectible and souvenir of royal memorabilia or England.

his is a neat sewing thimble that I brought back from England recently. It is marked Bone China and the maker CE and has a very pretty design of Anne Hathaway's thatched cottage who was William Shakespeare's love and gold trim. The thimble is 1 inch high by just under 1 inch in diameter. The thimble is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. This is a great vintage darning mushroom with it's original chrome sock ring we brought back from England recently. This wooden or treen oak darner measures 4.5 inches long by 2.25 inches in diameter with a turned handle with 2 incised rings and dates from the 1900-1920. It has great patina and I love the use scars on it. That's character for you. It is in very good condition with one small crack in the handle base. A great piece and very collectible. This is a pretty yellow painted vintage wood English darning mushroom from Gloucester, England. It is made of painted turned wood and measures 4.5 inches long by 2.5 inches in diameter. It was obviously used as there are quite a few scratches on the head where the needle grazed during darning, but generally in very good condition. This is a vintage English quilting thimble I brought back recently from England. It is marked England and the number 2 and measures 5/8 inch high by 3/4 inch in diameter at the base. The quilting thimble is made of brass and was silver plated. There is some wear to the plating on the outside, and the inside & bottom rolled rim are the original brass. It is in very good condition and dates from the 1930-1940s. Shipping in the US by USPS first class with tracking is $4.20.

This is a fabulous antique woven sewing basket dating 1910-1930s and measuring 4 inches high and 9 inches in diameter. The basket is in excellent condition and most of the original decorations are there including beads, a chinese coin and celluloid rings and bar. I think another coin a several beads have been removed. But it is very difficult to find one with any of the original decorations and an intact undamaged basket. Lovely!
