This cute little mottoware or motto ware pedestal single egg cup, was made by Watcombe, Torquay in Devon, England 1900-1920 and features the usual cottage and the motto Speak Little Speak Well. The color is actually creamier than the photo appears. The eggcup measures 2.75 inches high and is 1.75 inches in diameter. This is a blue jasper or jasperware plate made in 1981 by Wedgwood, England to commemorate the royal wedding of Prince Charles of England and Lady Diana Spencer. The plate measures 6.5 inches in diameter and besides the usual impressed Wedgwood marks has a dedication on the back.
