This is a wonderful albeit politically incorrect victorian children's playing card game called Happy Families. The antique card game is in it's original box featuring Master Tar the Seaman's Son on the front. The box measures 1 inch high by 4.25 long by 3 inches wide and has 35 cardstock cards and no suit marks making it a very early deck. The first was produced for the Great Exhibition of 1851.
