This is a n artist signed, Dame Laura Knight commemorative coronation mug for King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of England made in 1937. This design for the porcelain mug is called the circus design because there is an elephant in the design and has a figural handle which looks like a lion or camel? head to me. The colors are bold and beautiful. The mug is 3.5 inches high and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A very collectible and unusual mug.
