This is a gorgeous antique victorian cut crystal squared barbell knife rest or knife holder with hallmarked sterling silver rings for WHS London 1864. The waffle, diamond and star cut crystal knife rest measures 3.75 inches high by 1 inch square ends with a tapered middle. This is a great pie bird or pie funnel or pie vent I brought back from England in white stoneware or ironstone. It makes me think of a hungry baby bird with it's mouth so wide open. The pie bird measures 4.25 inches high by 2 inches long by 1.75 inches wide. It was made in the 1940-1950s and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This is a cute pair of porcelain open salts, salt dips or salt dishes made by the Noritake company of Japan in the 1920s. The hand painted salt cellars have a floral design, green rim and gold trim. They measure 2.5 inches long by just over 1.5 inch wide. They are in very good condition with no chips or cracks but one is a bit out of round from manufacturing. This is a fabulous and difficult to find antique English victorian open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of silver plated cast metal dating to 1880-1900. We brought it home from England last trip. The open salt is 1.75 inches high and 2 inches wide and features a shell shape dish supported by a dolphin. The dip was cast in 2 pieces and then assembled. The salt dip is marked 3337 and a W. I don't know if you would call the pattern pressed into the bottom of this master salt dish I brought home recently from England a leaf or a star. This is a very old master open salt or salt dip, dating to 1890-1910. It measures 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches by 2.75 inches high.
