This is a wonderful bluebird design pitcher or jug made 1880-1900 by an unknown maker from Germany or possibly England. I acquired at an antique market in England and it is unmarked but looks German to me. The porcelain pitcher or jug measures 7.5 inches high by 6.5 inches long by 4 inches wide and has the cutest flying bird against a blue sky and stenciled rosy clouds with a smaller bird on the reverse. The shape has a molded rim design and reeded base and a gorgeous blue color at the bottom.Th ...click for details

This is an exquisite antique espresso coffee, demitasse teacup and saucer or perhaps a chocolate cup and saucer I believe to from the Dresden factories in Victorian Germany. Although marked with only numbers it is certainly in the style of Dresden from the 1880s. It is handpainted enamel on transfer and is lovely. The birds are beautiful. There is small wear to the gold. The cup stands 2.25 inches high and the saucer measures 4.5 inches in diameter. The set is in excellent condition with no chip ...click for details

This plate is absolutely beautiful! It is a quite large, 10.75 inches in diameter, perhaps a charger or just a cabinet plate, and bears the beehive or shield mark of Royal Vienna factory, Austria and was manufactured around 1880-1900 in what is called the Vienna period. Although the portrait is not identified I think it is a portrait of the Empress Josephine and the letter N is incorporated into the border. It has exquisite detail in heavily applied enamel paints and gold, and is handpainted ov ...click for details
