This is a neat vintage ceramic eggcup dating to 1910-1920s featuring a transfer design of what I think are gloxinias, but anyway flowers. I brought it home from England. It has no marks so I don't know who made it, but probably in Staffordshire, England. The egg cup stands 4 inches high and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This is an A. J. Wilkinson Ltd., England antique semi porcelain plate in a teal green transfer or transferware pattern called Arcadia made 1896-1920. The 8 inch in diameter plate has an urn and birds center motif, flower and basket border and remnants of gold trim. The plate is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks.
