This carpet ball or carpet bowl is over 100 years old and is of original glazed hard fired clay. The design is an interesting one of white and black plaid. Plaid was a favorite of Queen Victoria. The carpet ball is about 3.5 inches in diameter. It is quite heavy. The condition is very good. It has been used,and has 1 area of glaze loss which actually is smooth and feels as if it were done during manufacturing, but as these balls go it's in very good condition. This is a lovely bone china cream and sugar or creamer and sugar basin made by Shelley China of England in 1918-1925. The cream is 2.75 inches high by 2.5 inches long, the sugar is 2.25 high by 3.75 in diameter. The shape is Vincent and the pattern is #11065 Chatsworth with gold trim. The cream and sugar set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations and looks as if never used. Very pretty!

This is a fun large novelty ceramic tea pot made by Price Kensington potteries, England in the 1970s with the word Hello and peeping eyes and hands coming out of the top. The fully functional large teapot measures 7.5 inches high by 10 inches wide. The mark is impressed under glaze Made In England P&K. This is a neat pair of vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers or cruets in the form of molded holly leaves crowned with holly berries. The shakers are 3 inches high and are in very good ++ condition with no cracks and only some minor paint flaking from the bottom of the berries on one of the shakers. This is a neat commemorative plate extolling farmers from Burgess & Leigh, Ltd, Staffordshire England 1919-1926. The plate is ironstone black transfer ware with hand painted enamel over painting and the design is a coat of arms for farmers with a descriptive poem on the back and gold trim. Neat!
