Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee Biscuit Tin England Souvenirs: Royal Memorabilia: Contemporary   item # 536609 (stock# 6549)  click for details Antiques At Time Was 360-477-4128 $18.00  This is a neat royal purple biscuit or cookie tin made by Walker's Shortbread in 2002 to commemorate the Golde Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II marking her 50th year on the throne of England 1952-2002. It originally held shortbread but alas, is empty. You can fill it up I'm sure. The tin measures 8.5 inches high by 9.25 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep and is in excellent mint condition. The hallmarked sterling silver and all over heavily embellished hand chased repousse castle design has a different scene each side and is marked with the lion for sterling, head, date letter for 1835 and the anchor for Birmingham. The tin measures 4.5 inches in diameter by 5.75 inches tall. It has great full color photos and graphics and is in very good condition except for scratches under the lid from being used. It measures 18 inches by 10.5 inches by 6.25 inches. It is in very good condition and has only the 2 enamel chips you can see in the photos. A great design so evocative of the period.
