This is an antique victorian era treen or wooden potato masher or large darning mushroom, depending on the treen or antique guide you search. The treen potato masher or darning mushroom measures 7 inches long by 5 inches in diameter, is made of oak (I think), has a turned handle and was made around 1900 in England. The patina is fantastic and it's a great collectible piece of kitchenalia or sewing memorabilia. Shipping in the US by USPS priority insured.
