This is a fabulous antique English knife rest I brought back from England recently. The silver plated knife rest was made 1890-1910 and measures 1.5 inch high by 4 inches long. The knife rest has a daisy at each end, a fluted column bar and leaves on the outside of the ends. The knife rest is in excellent, mint condition. This is a lovely piece of English useful silver in the form of a pedestal calling card basket or tray or cake basket used at tea parties I brought home from England recently. The basket has a repousse scalloped rim and pierced sides and is marked Made In England EPNS and was made 1900-1910s. It is a very pretty piece and is in very good ++ condition with no dents. It was black but polished up well with some minor plate loss in the bottom from use. A wonderfully decorative piece.

This is an antique figural napkin ring by Derby Silver Company, USA in the shape of a chick with a cracked eggshell edged barrel on a wishbone. The barrel is hand engraved Best Wishes and To Georgie.
