This is a pair of pre victorian English antique hallmarked sterling silver sugar tongs or sugar nips. The sugar tongs measure 6 inches long and are hallmarked for London, England in 1822 which means before Queen Victoria came to the thrown in the Regency period. The sugar tongs have the a gothic script monogram FM on the bow. The sugar tongs have spoon ends and a Georgian design. They are in excellent condition from an historic period. Beau Brummel or Jane Austen would have loved them.

This is an English souvenir horse brass featuring a Welsh dragon in a wreath marked Wales dating to 1900-1920. This neat antique brass has a concave back and great patina and measures 3 inches high by 2.5 inches wide. Horse brasses were developed in the 17th century to decorate and identify draft horses and are very collectible. This is a victorian hair receiver or hair receptacle made by the Queen City Silver Company of Cinncinati, Ohio USA 1890-1910 and was a part of every victorian woman's vanity set. This particular piece is of pressed glass with a damascened or niello silverplate lid. The hair receiver measures 2.5 inches high by 5 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition. This is a fabulous and difficult to find antique English victorian open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of silver plated cast metal dating to 1880-1900. We brought it home from England last trip. The open salt is 1.75 inches high and 2 inches wide and features a shell shape dish supported by a dolphin. The dip was cast in 2 pieces and then assembled. The salt dip is marked 3337 and a W.
