This is a Royal Crown Derby, England luncheon plate measuring 9 inch in diameter made 1891-1894. The gorgeous and delicate bone china luncheon plate which could also be used as a cake or sandwich plate, is scalloped and lobed with gold festoons, medallions and trim which has been hand painted on white bone china. This is a wonderful Crested China or Crested Ware match holder with match striker in the shape of a gentleman's top hat. The china souvenir hat has the coat of arms in hand painted enamel paint for Perth, England. The hat was made 1890-1910 and measures over 1.5 inches high by 2.75 inches long by 2 inches wide and is unmarked. It looks like an Arcadian Ware piece which were often unmarked at this date. This exquisite demitasse tea cup and saucer set is by George Jones Crescent china of England and is of embossed ironstone. It is in the Shannon pattern and is really beautiful. Besides the heavy floral embossing it has wonderful celtic art nouveau green borders. The cup is 2+ inches high by 2.25 in diameter and the saucer is 4.5 in diameter. This dark blue transferware or transfer ware platter was made 1892-1905 by J.H. Weatherby and Sons, Hanley, Staffordshire England in the pattern called Trentham. The serving platter measures 11 inch by 8 inch and is marked semi porcelain. The platter is molded and has a gilt rim. The platter is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks, but there are a couple of manufacturing flaws due to impurities in the clay--frequently seen in this era.
