Hudson of Longton, Staffordshire England 1892-1905. Imari became popular with the influence of japanese ceramics at that time. It features flow blue, rust and green hand painted onto a brown floral stylized design transfer with gold trim. It is in excellent condition with no chips,cracks or restorations but does a minor bit of gold wear. A lovely piece.

The pattern is a blue transfer design of a delicate flower and foliage or maybe seaweed with gold trim. The cup is 2.4 inches high, the saucer is 5.4 in diameter and the plate is 6.75 in diameter. All pieces are in excellent mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A wonderful victorian Staffordshire porcelain treasure!

Besides the heavy floral embossing it has wonderful celtic art nouveau red transferware borders. It is in excellent condition with an occasional mineral speck which is normal and is not called a flaw.
