This is a wonderful Aesthetic movement of English Arts and Crafts design victorian soft paste tea cup trio consisting of cup, saucer and plate I brought home from England recently. This is a wonderful antique porcelain mug manufactured by Shelley China Late Foley, England in 1911 for the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, grandparents of the present Queen Elizabeth II of England. This is a fabulous antique figural toby jug or character jug teapot made by Shorter and Son, Ltd. England 1905-1920. The toby has crossed legs and a mug in hand. The ceramic teapot is double faced and hand painted and measures 8 inches long by 6.5 inches high by 5.5 inches in diameter. The toby teapot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. This wonderful 9 inch in diameter luncheon plate is by George Jones Crescent china of England in an embossed design called Shannon with red or pink transfer and is really beautiful 1900-1920. Besides the heavy floral embossing it has wonderful celtic art nouveau red transferware borders.
