This is an antique cut glass double knife rest or knife holder made in England 1900-1920. The knife rest measures 1 inch high by 3.5 inches long by .5 inch wide and has beveled edges on all sides. The knife rest is in very good +++ condition with only 3 very tiny fleabites on the edge. A wonderful way to keep the table cloth clean that is having a resurgence of popularity today. This is a lovely hand painted over brown transfer imari plate measuring 6.5 inches in diameter made in England by Wm. Hudson of Longton, Staffordshire England 1892-1905. Imari became popular with the influence of japanese ceramics at that time. It features flow blue, rust and green hand painted onto a brown floral stylized design transfer with gold trim. It is in excellent condition with no chips,cracks or restorations but does a minor bit of gold wear. A lovely piece.

This is a wonderful antique biscuit barrel or cookie jar made of dark blue jasper dip made by Wedgwood, England 1900-1920s. The shape is #1672 and the classical design is called Sacrifice Figures in applied white jasper. The fittings are silver plate EPNS and the maker is Walker and Hall Sheffield, England. This is a very different Chelsea or Grandmother's Ware teacup and saucer made by an unidentified pottery in the Staffordshire region of England between 1850-1870s. The victorian pattern is called Blue Sprig or Chelsea Sprig but has been overpainted and then glazed and fired with a copper luster on the sprig decoration. Very unusual. This is an absolutely fabulous antique teacup trio consisting of cup, saucer and plate made in 1891 by Grainger, Worcester, England the precursor of Royal Worcester. The pattern is a blue transfer design of a delicate flower and foliage or maybe seaweed with gold trim. The cup is 2.4 inches high, the saucer is 5.4 in diameter and the plate is 6.75 in diameter. All pieces are in excellent mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A wonderful victorian Staffordshire porcelain treasure!

This is a fabulous blue transfer ware ironstone 8 inch in diameter romantic Staffordshire plate with the title Landscape made by Midwinter in Staffordshire, England 1910-1920. The plate is seen on page 314 of Petra Williams' Staffordshire Cup Plates And Early Victorian China Vol I. The plates is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks with some crazing consistent with age. Fabulous and so collectible.

This wonderful 9 inch in diameter luncheon plate is by George Jones Crescent china of England in an embossed design called Shannon with red or pink transfer and is really beautiful 1900-1920. Besides the heavy floral embossing it has wonderful celtic art nouveau red transferware borders. It is in excellent condition with an occasional mineral speck which is normal and is not called a flaw.
