The knife rest measures 1 inch high by 3.5 inches long by .5 inch wide and has beveled edges on all sides. The knife rest is in very good +++ condition with only 3 very tiny fleabites on the edge. Hudson of Longton, Staffordshire England 1892-1905. Imari became popular with the influence of japanese ceramics at that time. It features flow blue, rust and green hand painted onto a brown floral stylized design transfer with gold trim. It is in excellent condition with no chips,cracks or restorations but does a minor bit of gold wear. A lovely piece.
