This is an English victorian hand faceted crystal knife rest shaped like a barbell or dumbell with faceted ball ends made in England 1890-1910. The large crystal carving knife rest measures 1.5 inches high by 5 inches long and is in very good condition with only 2 minor facet chips and general facet wear. This is an antique artist's wooden figure model or mannequin that was hand carved in Italy and sold to my grandfather O.P. Herbig, a listed artist, by F. Weber and Company, Philadelphia P. A. USA around 1910 which is stamped in purple on the back of the model. My grandfather was married in Pennsylvania in 1911 and then moved to California to work as a painter. This is a fabulous and difficult to find antique English victorian open salt, salt dip or salt cellar made of silver plated cast metal dating to 1880-1900. We brought it home from England last trip. The open salt is 1.75 inches high and 2 inches wide and features a shell shape dish supported by a dolphin. The dip was cast in 2 pieces and then assembled. The salt dip is marked 3337 and a W. The salt cellar is in excellent condition and very collectible.

This is a fabulous antique English knife rest I brought back from England recently. The silver plated knife rest was made 1890-1910 and measures 1.5 inch high by 4 inches long. The knife rest has a daisy at each end, a fluted column bar and leaves on the outside of the ends. The knife rest is in excellent, mint condition.
