This is an 8 inch square cabinet plate from the 1930s featuring a thatched cottage on a village street titled Old England. The display plate has an art deco square shape and deco ochre or gold border and the design is handpainted and signed by the artist Eric Slater who was Shelley art director at that time. This is an art deco floral bone china cup and saucer in a design of hand painted on transfer hollyhocks. The cup and saucer was made by Foley, E. Brain, England in the 1930s. The cup is 2.75 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the set is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A great period design. This is a fabulous silver metal mesh purse made by Whiting and Davis 1910-1920 with the tag inside. It measures 5 inches high by 5 inches wide at the bottom and has an 8 inch curb chain handle. It has a fancy art nouveau pierced silverplated frame. The catch is tight and it has it's perfect pale pink silk moire lining. There is some slight wear and a bit of plating loss to the frame. This is a pair of really unusual and cute figural ceramic eggcups for the fairy tale character Humpty Dumpty made by Price Kensington, England. This lovely and ornate silverplate serving spoon is by the famous Pairpoint Mfg. Co. Pennsylvania, USA and dates from 1880-1900 during the late Victorian era. It measures 6.25 inches long and has a deeply repousse bowl. The handle has a rose on the handle and a shaped finial. It needs to be polished but is in very good condition. This is a very pretty bone china tea cup and saucer made by Shelley China, England in the Gainsborough shape in a pattern called Serenity #13791 with platinum trim made between 1945-1966. The pattern is of aqua feathers or ferns on white with stars called Snow Crystals. The cup is 4 inches in diameter by 2.75 high and the saucer is 5.75 in diameter. The teacup and saucer is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A lovely set.
